28 Days of Healthy Living: Day 8

If it takes a minimum of 21 days to make a habit I’m giving myself 28 days. 28 days of aiming to be healthier. Hopefully much healthier. To eat better, exercise more and make healthier choices throughout. This is all with the hope that by the time the 28 days is over I will have created a much healthier approach to life. So Day 8 was the day after the night before. I wasn’t hung over I was ridiculously tiered and ached all over. I was so tiered I didn’t even post yesterday so this one is a day late.

It was a pretty good night Saturday so I think it’s okay to ruin my healthy streak to have a little fun. Burns night celebrations are the best.

Food: Cooked breakfast (yummy) and nuggets, chips and beans for dinner.

Exercise: I took the dog out for a walk but that’s all I mustered. No sit ups, push ups or healthy eating.

Promoting good mental health: I had a lovely night the night before. Relaxing with my husband did me some good!

The unhealthy bit: well… most of the day really (again).

Over all: its best not to dwell on the lazy days!
