28 Days of Healthy Living: Day 9

If it takes a minimum of 21 days to make a habit I’m giving myself 28 days. 28 days of living a healthier life. 28 days of eating better, exercise more frequently and make healthier choices throughout the day. I’m hoping (desperately) that by the time the 28 days is over I will have created a much healthier approach to life. This is all because I want to run a marathon at the end of the year. Day 8 had been pretty rubbish but day 9 had me back on track.

Food: Porridge, chicken salad for lunch and bunless burger and chips for dinner… I also had some ice cream for pudding.  I didn’t eat any unhealthy snacks which is really good for me. But my salad was probably enough to feed two people.

Exercise: A not too shabby 16,176 steps. Two dog walks, 30 mins in the gym then 80 sec plank, 120 sit ups and 60 press ups.


Promoting good mental health: a really busy log day so relaxing at the end of it feels really good.

The unhealthy bit: Ice cream. But I just love ice cream so I’m not too bothered.

Over all: quite a active day. I did a lot of exercise and I ate pretty so all in all not bad.
