28 Days of Healthy Living: Day 20

If it takes a minimum of 21 days to make a habit I’m giving myself 28 days. 4 (long) weeks. During those 4 weeks I’m aiming to be as healthy as possible.

I’m going to follow healthier habits. This means eating less and exercising more. This is because I’m hoping that by repeating them every day I will have enforced them enough that they stick. I want to run a marathon this year and want to be at my best!

Food: Half a bowl of porridge for breakfast. Lunch was a mug of soup and half a panini : this was really good for me as we where out for lunch and I tend to go all out and order all the food on the menu. Dinner was pizza.

Exercise: 1 dog walk and 6km run. 60 second plank and 50 sit ups.

Promoting good mental health: it’s a well needed day off today, took a bit of me time .

The unhealthy bit: pizza might not be considered the best thing but it’s a great part of a balanced diet and was loaded with veggies.

Overall: a pretty good day. And I had a lay in!
