28 Days of Healthy Living : Day 21

If it takes a minimum of 21 days to make a habit I’m giving myself 28 days. In those 28 days I’m aiming to be as health as possible.

This means eating less and exercising more. All this is because I’m hoping that by repeating them every day I will have enforced them enough that they stick. I want to run a marathon this year and need to be at my best! I also want to get out of the habit of eating so poorly.

Food: Toast for breakfast, salad and some honey chilli chicken for lunch, toast for dinner and some ice cream and chocolate cake.

Exercise: only a big dog walk today! I had planned to run but we had got soaked through to the bone on our walk and so cold it took hours to warm back up.

Promoting good mental health: we had lunch out at a lovely cafe and it was nice to have a break from reality in the beautiful Upton country park.

The unhealthy bit: to be honest it wasn’t a bad day. I find I’m make slightly more sensible food choices. Even if I haven’t lost my love for pudding.

Overall: not perfect but who is perfect??
