Right! I’ve done it. I have curbed my snacking obsession this week by sticking to the 8:16 diet. And lost 3kg which is over 6 pounds! I’m happy with that! The idea is I can eat for 8 hours and fast for 16. I still think of food 50% of the time but I have been really strict and self control has been spot on! For a whole 9 days. That’s unheard of for me.
With 9 days of self control I think I can finally start my 28 weeks. I’m winning! I think I am going to try stick to the 8:16. It stops me eating continuously at my desk, so maybe sticking to it a little longer will help me stay on track and avoid the 10am snacking fest.
So healthy 28 weeks is a go! The aim:
1. Drink lots of water.
2. Exercise daily.
3. Do at least 1 thing everyday that makes me happy .
4. Eat healthily.
5. Avoid snacking.
6. Get more sleep.
7. Run at least 4 times a week.
8. Do at least 3 other types of exercise a week.
9. Achieve 10,000 steps every day.
There is the list. Wish me luck! Let’s hope I can stop thinking about food for at least 7 seconds.
